What do men like in women
I decided to look at some scientific research on what men find attractive in women, mainly from the perspective of physical appearance.
In one study, men and women participated in speed dating. It turned out that physical attractiveness matters much more for both sexes than intelligence. However, women care about intelligence twice as much as men do. Interestingly, another study showed that men value intelligence in women only as long as it doesn't exceed their own :). Ambitious girls are also not held in high regard, and this even breaks up married couples.
Another study examined the relationship between attractiveness and body mass index. It turned out that the less overweight a woman is, the more attractive she becomes, until BMI reaches 19 (anything below 18.5 is considered underweight).
The curve of the back and buttocks was also studied. It turned out that men categorically prefer women with a back-to-buttocks curve of 45.5 degrees, which is when the butt sticks out slightly - there are pictures in the article.
Regarding makeup, it turned out that men who are looking for serious and long-term relationships prefer women without makeup. However, Evelyn Gosnell conducted her own study, where she concludes that 78% of men say they prefer women without makeup, while her profile with makeup on a dating site received 34% more responses.
Breasts - how could we skip them? It appears that men prefer medium-sized breasts, followed by large and very large. However, another study found an interesting correlation indicating that preference for large breasts is significantly associated with "greater tendency toward benevolent sexism, objectification of women, and hostility toward women."
With buttocks, everything is more complicated - perception of ideal sizes depends heavily on age and ethnicity. Non-Europeans prefer larger buttocks than Europeans.
Let me try to paint the ideal portrait of a woman for a European: with moderate makeup if it hides some flaws, a slightly protruding medium-sized butt, medium breasts, not overweight, and of course, without ambitions and dumber than the man.
